Deep Freezer stocked full with High Fat Meats
Unless you wish to make multiple trips to the grocery store or farm your own meat you will want to invest in a deep freeze. I suggest buying local with delivery. When buying your meats, remember, the higher the fat content, the better! If buying ground beef, buy the higher fat. Watch out with Bacon, Sausages and Hotdogs. These often have hidden sugars, READ LABEL! Be prepared for many temptations of tantrums when standing in a store reading a label of a food product that has no need for sugar and – there it is. Sometimes it will be disguised in other names. I have done my homework. If reading this, you are doing yours. Right on!

Low Carb Cheese
Avoid shredded. Shred it yourself. Shredded cheese usually has wood pulp added or other anti-caking agents. DO NOT EAT THIS TYPE OF CHEESE! Generally the harder the cheese, the better, though not always. Parmesan, Mozzarella / String Cheese, and Cheddar, are all wonderful choices but so is Brie and it is on the softer side. Read the Label! Though Swiss is one of my favorites I avoid, the carbs are through the roof.

Stevia Drops

This is my favorite brand and I buy it in bulk. If you are using a powdered form of Stevia, warning, this has an anti-caking agent in it and is not keto! You must use the liquid stevia and make certain that there are also no other “sweeteners” added. Again, read the label. This brand is also shipped in a tough plastic, food grade rather than glass bottles. I always chose NOW! I have found to prepare the perfect “Southern Sweet Tea” all is needed is 1/2 a lid to a gallon of water and 4 family sized tea bags. If you prefer a sweeter taste try 1 lid, more? try 1 1/2. My first whirl at using stevia I used 2 lids to one gallon of water and it was so sweet neither of us could drink it. If you are the type of person who enjoys a VERY sweet iced tea try 2 lids to a gallon. I DARE YOU!

Almond Flour

Use the 2 above suggested flour alternatives for self made “micro” mug cakes, oven cakes, cookies, etc… these are the best flour substitutes – hands down. Using real flour is verboten on Keto. If you are living a Keto Lifestyle consider white or wheat flour poisons for you to avoid from here on out.

These are freebies and recommended to have on hand in the fridge at all times.

You can do amazing things with dessert tea, stevia and heavy cream. No guilt, all pleasure!

Powdered Bone Broth

To those who are making faces at the thought of “bone broth” – don’t go on the name. If you consume Bullion, Chicken Soup, Broth, Chicken and Dumplings, etc… then you are already consuming bone broth, you just never received the memo. Now you have. This brand is my choice and is a great alternate to when you want something hot and savory.

Macadamia Nuts

This brand is the best, large bulk size to get more bang for your buck! Macadamia Nuts are naturally LOW in carbs and HIGH in fat. They are the perfect snack for Ketogenic folks!

NO sugar added Peanut Butter or other nut butters – only ingredient: Nuts or Nuts and Salt. Always buy organic and in bulk! These two links include 6 Jars.

Weigh yourself ONLY once a week. If you find yourself sneaking in more than once a week, drop it to once a month. Seriously.
